Due to our continued efforts to assist the The Children’s Brain Tumour Research Centre we were invited by Professor Grundy and Emma Pearson to meet with the team and take a tour of their labs.The day began with a meeting between Wes Hinckes, Emma Pearson and Simon Harvey at the Media Department where we discussed how we may make best use of our online communications and how this ties into The Liberty Rose Trust and the CBTRC online strategies. A resounding success all round and we look forward to working closely together in the future.Next to come was the tour of the CBTRC labs, an absolutely fascinating glimpse into the world of cutting edge cancer research. Professor Grundy was kind enough to come in on his day off in order to speak with us and explain what they do, how they do it, the problems they face and the funding they need in order to make further advances in their area.Its an amazing team at the CBTRC and we look forward to assisting them in every way we can, thank you all for your valuable time.
